Intro to Action Shooting

Please arrive at 8am to help set up the stage and plan to stick around in order to help take down.  Work gloves are highly recommended.  Event will start at 9am after the safety brief has been completed.

Arrival Time     0800 to help club set up Safety Briefing     0850-0900 Event Times         0900-1200 Clean up/Take-down      1200 The plan is to have a two courses of Fire (CoF).  One IDPA style with movement and another that will be stationary engaging steel targets. There is also going to be a Texas star that can be engaged with a shotgun. Mandatory Gear:

• Wrap around eye protection & ear protection

Recommended Gear:

• Kydex holster (no nylon/fabric holsters), leather OK IF retains firearm securely. Holsters are optional as shooters can start from low-ready.
• 2 mags
• Mag holder
• 100 rds
• 25 rounds of 1200 fps max, 7-8 shot for Texas star shotgun

Please note:

• Event is for pistols only, no rifles or PCCs
• Calibers allowed: .22LR to .45
• We are looking to have at least ten (10) members sign up in order to make the event's setup worth it.
