Located at the AGC range facility is located on sixty acres in northwest Baltimore County, at the junction of Marriottsville Road and Wards Chapel Road (see Directions). The range offers all clubs' members, their families and guests a safe, maintained, and clean location to enjoy the shooting sports year round.

The AGC range offers:

  • A fifty point outdoor pistol range, firing at 25 and 58 yards, with covered firing line — equipped to handle NRA conventional pistol match competitions.

  • A 100-yard benchrest-equipped rifle, black powder, and pistol range, with covered firing line — firing at intermediate distances of 25, 50, and 100 yards

  • A ten point outdoor, high power rifle range with covered firing line — firing at 200 yards, with military-style target frames and equipped to handle national match events;

  • A 50 yard archery range and simulated tree stand;

  • Memorial Hall clubhouse/meeting hall — with 6 indoor pellet ranges and restrooms (located adjacent to the trap range);

  • Barnes Range House, located at the 100-yard range, offers a meeting hall, guest registration, range badge purchases and target frame sales.

  • Lower Barnes Range House offers a training room with bathrooms.

  • A four field, lighted, outdoor trap range with voice activated or manual trap houses, including a wobble trap, and portable Lincoln trap throwers for rent.

  • Trap - 1st Saturday                          9am - 12pm

  • Pistol - 2nd Saturday                       9am - 12pm

  • Rifle - 3rd Saturday                          9am - 12pm

  • Black Powder and Rifle - 4th Sat     9am - 12pm

  • Club Meeting - 3rd Friday                8pm - end

  • Trap - 5th Saturday (if available)    9am - 12pm
